    Kathryn

Inspired by the next generation of leaders, Kathryn cares deeply about students and their stories. As an essay coach, she is passionate about helping students express their voices, making the most of their words. She believes that the stories we tell shape the lives we lead, so she treats each essay as an opportunity to prepare for personal, academic, and professional success. Throughout her process, she builds confidence, strengthens mindset, and imparts long-lasting skills. Above all, she recognizes the power of calm, so she shares her expertise in grounded, enjoyable ways that bring out the best in essay writing and beyond.

Outside of her work with students at College Prep 360, Kathryn is an author and strategic advisor to executives, founders, and leaders. In 2021, she founded Amant House, an independent publishing house, to release her debut novel, Paradise City, a philosophical work of literary fiction that feels like vacation. Born in Washington, D.C., Kathryn graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a B.A. in Political Science and earned her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law with admission to the State Bar of California. She brings two decades of high-level writing experience, focused on leadership, to her essay coaching. She loves live music, sports, travel, vintage cars, and contemporary art; she supports UNICEF, Team Rubicon, and the Surfrider Foundation. Kathryn lives and writes at the beach in Los Angeles.
