Eli has over a decade of experience working with students on both sides of the undergraduate admissions process. He began his career at Vassar as the Assistant Director of Admissions, where he gained deep insight into the selection process by reading thousands of applications per year. Since then, he has worked as a college consultant as well as the Director of College Advising for a high-touch college advising firm. In these roles, Eli has guided hundreds of students in gaining admission to top colleges in the U.S., UK, and Canada.

Eli’s number one goal is for admissions committees to see his students on their “best day.” He achieves this by leveraging his expert knowledge of college admissions to help students identify their ideal list of schools, tailor their profiles so that they stand out in selective applicant pools, and tell their stories in unique and memorable ways. The unknowns of college admissions can be stressful for families, so Eli works to make the process as transparent as possible, pulling back the curtain on how decisions are made in the committee room. Eli knows that successful applications are formed when families understand what selective schools are looking for (and why!), and students are given the guidance and coaching to realize their potential and build their credentials authentically.

When he is not counseling students, Eli can be found building apps, playing and watching basketball (go Duke!), debating Marvel fan theories, and searching for the best burger in NYC.
